Beyond the characters and the relationships, the storyline is fantastic. I don't trust her best friend and I am not a fan of her father or the pink-loving Cherry. But the chemistry between Madison Kate and the guys is undeniable whether they are fighting or flirting. It's hard to say whether they are good guys or dangerous gang members. The guys are all hot and appear to be one thing but they have secrets. It gives her depth and makes her unpredictable. She's had trauma and she bears the scars. Despite wealth, intelligence, and beauty her life hasn't been a dream. She can be sweet, sexy, and smart or she can cut you off at the knees. Archer D'Ath, Kodiak Jones, and Max Steele will pay. Madison Kate doesn't plan to make it easy for them though she's looking for revenge. A year later she returns to find the three men have moved into her family home with plans to hijack her life. She's saved by three insanely hot men but finds herself set up to take the fall for the town. The night ended in chaos-shootings, murder, riots, and Madison Kate finds herself running for her life.
Instead, she talked her best friend into going into an illegal MMA-style fight. It's a fantastic conclusion to the series and Tate got to indulge in her sadistic streak with that final scene.
As the final book in the series we get the answers we needed, the results we wanted, and the scenes we dreamed of. It was packed with intrigue, danger, action, sex, and violence with a few intimate, soft moments thrown in. When they went in, they went in fully and you can't help get caught up with them. Each character stood out as their best self in this book. They are all gorgeous, intelligent, fearless, sexy. This is one of those rare books where the lead female and her men are all on equal footing. Watching the guys prove their love to her was swoon-worthy. Getting stabbed, facing down a gunfight, standing up to monsters. This girl is so fearless except when it comes to her heart. It was great watching MK lower her walls. More danger, more angst, more sexy times, more intimate moments. It's time to stop hiding and take the offensive. However, MK refuses to let her man, any of her men go. The threat to Madison Kate has claimed more than one life and now Steele's life is hanging in the balance.
